Hospitality Programmes
In view of the growing demand for trained hospitality workers both locally and globally and in keeping with our vision to be the country's leader in producing professionally superior manpower to meet World Class standards, Skills is looking to expand its services to offer courses in Hospitality through its eminent partner City & Guilds. Courses offered will range from Food & Beverage Service, Accommodation Operations and Services and Reception Operations and Services.
A unique programme of qualifications, from Craft Level to Advanced Diploma, for candidates who wish to work in the Hospitality industry throughout the world. The programmes are right up to date, incorporating modern theory and practices. The programmes have been structured with the industries need for practical skills in training programmes. In this light candidates achieving these qualifications will not only gain a theoretical knowledge on the subject but will be able to perform as expected due to the exposure to realistic work environment and practical knowledge.
Food & Beverage
These qualifications are intended for people training for or employed in the hospitality and catering industries worldwide. They establish the knowledge and skills required from trainee to supervisory levels. Syllabus areas range from safety and hygiene at work to serving a variety of dishes and beverages.
On completion of the course candidate will have the necessary knowledge and practical experience to operate as a front line worker in a restaurant environment of a typical service outlet.
Accommodation Services
These qualifications are for people training for or employed in the accommodation and hospitality industries worldwide. They appraise knowledge and skills with an international application from initial accommodation functions to supervision of operations and the services involved. Syllabus areas include customer care and personal skills.
Reception Services
These qualifications are intended for people training for or employed in front-office and reception areas of accommodation or catering establishments. They assess the knowledge and skills required from general reception procedures to supervising overall operations and accompanying services in an international context.
Hospitality Trade Tests
If you have been employed in the Hospitality Industry for a period of 2 years and looking for an International Qualification this is an exciting opportunity.
Register with us for our Trade Tests and be a recipient of a City & Guilds Skills Proficiency Certificate. This internationally recognised certificate makes you eligible for job opportunities worldwide.
