Spoken English for Speakers of Other Languages (SESOL)

City & Guilds English awards are offered at 6 levels, across all levels of the Common European Framework, allowing the learners to progress and achieve communication levels relevant to their vocations.
Assessment for the qualifications are by City and Guilds examiners in the UK. This ensures the integrity and quality of the qualification.
General English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
A perfect award to benchmark the Listening, Reading & Writing Skills in the English Language.
The Test for ESOL is offered at 6 Levels; they are, Preliminary, Access, Achiever, Communicator, Expert & Mastery.
City & Guilds International English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Diploma
City & Guilds offers you an exciting opportunity to earn an internationally recognised English Language Diploma. Simply do both City & Guilds General English and Spoken English programs at any level and qualify to be a recipient of an International ESOL diploma
Cambridge Young Learners Programme
Developed by the University of Cambridge ESOL department the Young Learners programme trains candidates in the four skills; speaking; listening; writing and reading. The programme is designed for students between the ages of 7 and 12 years. It is delivered at 3 different levels and based on his/her age candidates will be allocated into the most suitable level.
Starters - The lowest level. This is designed for children from the age of 5 - 7 years
Movers - The second level is designed for candidates aged between 8 and 10 years.
Flyers - The third level is designed for candidates aged between 11 and 12 years.
The course is delivered over a period of 5 months.
Local O/L English and A/L English Literature (Kandy Branch Only)
A support program to help students prepare for Local O Level English and Local A level literature. Students are exposed to learner friendly environment with exam targeted handouts. Class size does not exceed 25 students which ensure individual attention for all candidates.
English for Business Communications (EBC)
Effective communication is key to successful business. Whatever your field or profession, this qualification will help you boost your confidence and proficiency in English language for the business-based environment. The award recognises the ability to read and write business communications in English.

ACE (Access Certificate in English Language Teaching)
This program is a preparation course for the internationally acclaimed ACE qualification award from City and Guilds. This has been jointly developed by City & Guilds and Department of Language and Literacy Studies at the University of Manchester, UK. The experience of both City & Guilds and the University of Manchester provides candidates with the opportunity of achieving a high quality qualification that is recognised worldwide. The ACE qualification can earn credits in a number of Universities in the UK for MA ELT programs.
